shucking oysters is so fun. it's a real skill, one I nearly perfect by my 5th oyster, but immediately lose the next time I'm up in Inverness. My family has been buying oysters here for years. You drive right up to the actual oyster farm and can buy them to take home or to any of the nearby beaches. They have pacific oysters in multiple sizes meant for raw or grilling and then some incredible west coast varietals meant for raw. my favorites are the kumamotos but I also love the golden nuggets. th...
